Day-to-Day Role: Tasks and Responsibilities
The Warehouse Assistant role centers on core warehouse operations. Your duties begin with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, ensuring quality and accuracy of goods received.
Loading and unloading goods is another essential function, followed by picking and packing items accurately per shipping documents for delivery.
You will manage physical inventory and carry out cycle counts as required to maintain stock integrity. Using the ERP system to process inbound and outbound inventory forms a core part of daily workflow.
Document preparation before deliveries—including invoices and delivery orders—ensures that each shipment is properly recorded and tracked.
Other responsibilities include coordinating with local transporters, maintaining general warehouse housekeeping, and performing tasks as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
